Member Testimonial

During the first months after this website was online it was a pleasant surprise to see
so many subscribers keep their memberships.  Four years later we got this unsolicited, detailed and appreciative email from a loyal member that pretty much says it all:

Hi JP,

I’m a subscriber of yours as well as a published photographer. But, first and foremost… a man… with a deep attraction and appreciation for everything that makes a woman sooo much a thing of beauty to us. My attraction to real, natural, adult women began as a small boy and, by now I have nearly 4 decades of fascination and appreciation for nearly all things feminine.

Your ability to capture the essence of the beauty as well as the raw animal attraction of the women that you photograph is something that I’d like to thank you for sharing with me.

I appreciate that your selection of models is wide-ranging but with done with a discriminating eye. There is really something special in so many of them… A not-quite-girl-next-door authenticity combined with real, natural beauty. Sometimes quite unconventional beauty but allure nonetheless. I live in Seattle and many of these women seem to be girls that I’ve just passed on the sidewalk in the Market or Pioneer Square…You’re a better man than me to be able to concentrate enough to produce the high quality images that you do in the presence of these gorgeous women. I also really appreciate the fact that, by and large, they are not the same old surgically enhanced, playboyesque perfection. The personality that clearly shows through in models such as Ava, Ginger, Rosalisa and Michelle is a thing of beauty itself.

The fact that you don’t ‘filter’ out (or Photoshop) models with human imperfections like scars, moles or real, live pubic hair also gives authenticity to the women that you portray. Thank you too for that.

I also appreciate your use of natural lighting. It gives the viewer a truer sense of ‘being there’…it connects with my own personal experiences with women who are about to share themselves with me…that rarely happens, for me anyway, under perfect studio lighting…

Thank you too for your ability to clearly, unashamedly, photograph that most sacred of places  - a woman’s vagina…without seeming vulgar or trite. I find it hard to articulate my love for that place with the women in my life without sounding fixated in some unhealthy way.  Or having that love dismissed as “yeah, sure you do. You’re a guy. All you want to do is penetrate it.”  And to see that flower unfolding itself as your photo shoot progresses is akin to our own experiences as men with women as they gradually warm to us…eventually revealing and sharing that warmth and fragrant goodness.

Well, I’ve exceeded what I set out to express to you when I sat down to write this. More evidence of the impact of your photos to connect with the psyche of the people who view them I guess.

Thank you again,

Steve
