Out-takes and Auditions

If a model doesn't have a portfolio, they'll sometimes pose in exchange for a CD of their photos.  It's a good way to get acquainted and to see if we can work regularly together.  We'll be posting some of those images here, and also some out-takes from other sessions.

The Model at Her Mirror

Here's an unedited glimpse into the secret life of models...I guess you could call it reality photography.  Maybe it is my voyeur tendency, but I have often photographed models as they prepare for the session.  Such images are from a tradition that goes back to the French Impressionists in the late 19th and early 20th century, particularly Edgar Degas, who sketched and painted women in ordinary "girl maintenance" activities.

Glamour Nude in the Penthouse

The white couch in the penthouse was the perfect place for Victoria to show off her beautiful nude body for these glamour-babe photos.  Her legs are a modern wonder of the world.

Buxom Nikki in the Mobile Studio

It was the first the first day of spring, but a little too nippy to shoot outdoors, so we parked at the boat ramp by the bay with the city in the background.  Nikki's resume includes posing for Hustler, so let's say that being very nude for the camera is something that comes naturally to her.  As for the photographer, let's just say sometimes the flesh is weak.

Michelle Warming Up in Faux Fir

The studio loft has electric heat, and was slow getting up to model temperature on a November afternoon...so Michelle left her faux fir on for awhile.
